What do you mean by a “Direct Primary Care" practice?

Our “direct primary care” model is one in which patients of Canopy Family Care, the family medicine practice of Joey Nichols, MD, MPH, FAAFP, pay a Membership Fee that covers enhanced telehealth and limited home-based primary care services.  It allows you to have a personal relationship with your physician, whose goal is to provide care that is responsive, thorough, and individualized.  A unique feature of Canopy Family Care is that almost all care will be provided remotely by telehealth, rather than in a traditional, brick & mortar medical office.

There are more than 1,000 direct primary care practices spread across 48 states, caring for over 250,000 patients nationwide. You can learn more about the DPC Movement here or on the DPC Nation Facebook Group.
